Arrivals and Departures

Walking around Agden Reservoir this morning, I spotted half a dozen redwings in an old holly tree on the edge of the woods.

Although the winter migrants are arriving, there are still a few summer visitors about. As I waited for the bus home in Low Bradfield, a swallow flitted past - keeping low to the ground in the wet and blustery conditions.
