Don't forget that this weekend is the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch.

I've re-stocked the bird feeder with sunflower hearts and bought a big bag of mealworms - now bring on the birds!

If you are tired of buying mealworms in a bag, you can raise them yourself. A good resource on this is a book an acquaintance of mine published recently 'A Complete Guide to Raising Mealworms' by J. Lynn Currie.
