In last Saturday's Guardian, Richard Hawley was lamenting the redevelopment of Sheffield city centre:

I too have concerns about the way my home city is changing, but I would like to set the record straight about the Yorkshire Grey.

BGB survey - our results

These are our results from the Big Garden Birdwatch survey:

Relatively few birds were seen, probably because it was very windy.

I've re-stocked the bird feeder with sunflower hearts and bought a big bag of mealworms - now bring on the birds!
